About Adtec Electrical
An electrical contractor based at Lyford Business Centre near Wantage, trading since 2014.
Adtec Electrical Services Ltd is a limited company registered in England and Wales (company no. 09208632). We have been trading since 2014, working from our office at Unit 17 Cobweb Building, Lyford Business Centre, Lyford, Wantage, Oxfordshire, OX12 0EE.
What we do
Much of our work is repeat project work for builders: the electrical package on extensions, refurbishments, conversions and new homes, from first fix through to testing and certification. Alongside that we carry out commercial work in offices, warehouses and industrial units, from fit-outs and lighting upgrades to distribution boards and periodic testing.
More recently we've added a smaller works side for homeowners and landlords, so the same standards apply whether the job is a new distribution board in a warehouse or a couple of extra sockets in a kitchen.

Where we work
From Lyford we cover Wantage, Grove, Faringdon, Abingdon, Didcot, Oxford, Witney, Swindon and Newbury, and the villages between them, generally within about 35 miles. See areas we cover for more on each town.
How a job runs
- Enquiry. You call or send the form, and we ask about the building, the work and your timing.
- Visit or survey. For most jobs we look in person; project work can be priced from drawings.
- Written quote. Price and scope in writing, with exclusions spelt out.
- The work. Carried out to BS 7671, with power off only when needed.
- Certificate. Tested on completion, with the right certificate handed over.
- Tidy. Offcuts cleared and the area left ready for decorators or occupants.
