Who we are

What we collect

When you send our quote form we collect your name, phone number, email address (if given), postcode, the type of customer you are, the service you're interested in, your message, and the page you sent it from. We also receive any details you choose to give us by phone or email.

Why we use it and our lawful basis

We use your details to reply to your enquiry, arrange visits, prepare quotes and, if you go ahead, carry out and certify the work. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and running our business. Where we keep records of completed work, that may also be to meet legal obligations.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your data. Form submissions are stored in our database, provided through Lovable Cloud (built on Supabase), and delivered to our inbox by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), an email delivery service. These providers process data on our behalf. Some may process data outside the UK, in which case appropriate safeguards apply. We may also share information where required by law.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't lead to work are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted. Records relating to work we carry out, including certificates, are kept for as long as needed for legal, insurance and warranty purposes.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to or restrict how we use it, and ask for a copy in a portable format. To do so, contact us using the details above. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
